From Exeter take the A30 to just past Launceston. Turn off on the A395 for Camelford. Turn off right at Hallworthy towards Bude. On reaching the A39 turn left then 1 mile further, off right on the signed road to Tintagel. Cross the B3266 then 2 miles further on turn left for Trenale. Lilac Cottage is beside the lowest point of the small road triangle.
